Scania is part of the TRATON GROUP, one of the world’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers, bringing together the brands Scania, MAN, Navistar, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus. As part of TRATON Group’s integration strategy, the brands are working together to pool ideas and resources to jointly gain industrial scale effects, enabling transport solutions to be deployed faster.
Deliveries 2025
In 2025, we delivered 87,588 trucks, 6,485 buses as well as 9,240 industrial and marine power systems to our customers. The sales revenue totalled to SEK 198.5 billion.
Founded in 1891, Scania now operates in more than 100 countries and employs more than 50,000 people. Scania’s production takes place in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Research and development is carried out globally, with our main site in Södertälje, Sweden acting as the hub for our R&D activities.
