Front-End Developer Elvira Danell at Scania Sales & Marketing, works with coding and problem solving. As part of a team, she develops cutting edge technology to enable fleet owners to view vehicle data on the customer website.
“I love to write code and build something while finding creative solutions. It can be a new functionality found during quality assurance. In my team we mostly work with Angular, but there are many different technologies and programme languages. We work with scrum and agile methods that are flexible and fast, with two-week sprints.”
With a MSc in Interaction Technology and Design at Umeå University, Elvira started her career as an consultant. After years at various companies in different industries, she found a job that suited her at Scania in 2020.
Elvira really appreciate the diversity and to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. As a parent, she also likes the flexibility and work-life balance.
“I have always seen Scania as a potential employer, with a good personnel policy, environmental work and innovative culture. As a developer, I have a lot of freedom with responsibility. There are many different career paths and potential to grow, develop your skills and learn new things.”
