We wish you a Merry Christmas – with lots of sparkle!
As the year draws to a close, it’s time for us to recharge our own batteries. From all of us at Scania’s e-mobility hub, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We’ll see you in 2024 when we’ll be full of energy once again, and bring you more inspiring stories about transport electrification.
Phew! What a year 2023 has been for electrification at Scania!
From the inauguration of a new battery factory and new battery-electric vehicles, to the first test of the ultra-fast charging technology MCS and a green ‘lifetime’ battery designed to last for 1.5 million kilometres, it’s been an electrifying innovation journey.
It’s not only Scania that’s been creating sparks this year. There have also been a lot of bold steps forward by many transport companies on their own electrification journeys. We saw BEVs being used for applications spanning several different industries and sectors, such as waste collection, mining and retail.
But now, as the holiday season approaches, it’s time to remind ourselves of the importance of having a rest, to breathe out and reflect on the year that’s passed, and spend time with our loved ones.
Once our batteries are recharged, we’ll be back in the new year with lots of New Energy for sustainable innovations. The next year promises to be at least as eventful as the one that’s just been, with new product enhancements, new charging infrastructure being installed by hauliers and energy companies, and a Scania service network with technicians and facilities that are more than ready to support our customers in making productive electrification journeys.
So, stay tuned for new inspiring stories on Scania’s e-mobility hub – we’ve got tech articles, case studies, trend analyses and expert advice lined up for you; everything you need to make the shift to sustainable electric transport.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our readers and customers!
