Complemented by the groundbreaking Scania Super powertrain, it means that 8% fuel savings can now be achieved on the off-road.

The new Opticruise is our quietest, lightest, and most efficient gearbox yet. This is delivered through a new aluminium-based compact geometric design, as well as improved oil flow distribution to reduce internal losses by 50%.

Through a wider 14-gear ratio, including a lower ‘super crawler’ gear and up to 8 additional reverse gears, you can enjoy the ultimate control and comfort in even the hardest conditions. This is complemented by improved auxiliary braking and smoother, faster gear shifting.
