For any public transport solution to be truly sustainable, a range of closely linked environmental, social and economic factors must be considered. Keeping people moving is of course vital – but how do you do that while also reducing emissions and improving air quality? With so many stakeholders involved, how do you ensure that everyone stands to benefit from the new system? And can all this be achieved while also creating lasting value for the local economy? Through our holistic approach to urban transport, Scania offers solutions that can address all of these issues – as a new project in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire demonstrates (more details in the SDG 10 section)
