How we drive the shift

Our strategy

Our strategy connects our actions today with our ambitions for tomorrow, ensuring that everything we do supports our purpose to drive the shift towards a sustainable transport system.

To keep our business moving in the right direction, we need to make sure that the actions we take today support our longer-term aspirations and purpose.

Our strategic framework provides this alignment. It anchors and connects all the key components of our strategy, guiding decisions that increase not only the value we create for our customers but also for our business and society in the long-term.

A resilient strategy for a changing world

In turbulent times, we need a business that is robust but also adaptable. As part of our strategy, we ensure that resilience and flexibility are hardwired into our business. These are qualities that have become even more important as our world becomes more uncertain and divided.

For example, our modular system allows us to quickly tailor solutions to suit a range of legislative environments and different levels of market maturity. And following the launch of our new industrial hub in China, we now have three industrial hubs globally, each with their own local supply chains – further diversifying our business and reducing our reliance on any one market.

Our strategy is calibrated continuously using scenarios to ensure robustness against different future developments.
