Venture building and startup acceleration
We explore
We continuously explore new ideas and business models. Some start-ups apply to our incubators from outside of Scania. Many are home-grown, with ideas born and nurtured in the Scania Innovation Factory.
We build
We don’t just identify opportunities; we bring them to life. We have the team, the processes and the resources to support new ventures to thrive in the competitive landscape.
We manage
Building a new business is not easy. It demands clarity in vision and deep commitment. That is why we take pride in managing new companies that enhance Scania’s offering.
How Scania is exploring new business areas
To drive the shift to a sustainable transport system, we need to find brave and bold partners in the transport ecosystem. We need partners who share our vision and can help further develop and accelerate the adoption of new technologies outside our core capabilities. In this video Gustaf Sundell, Head of Ventures and New Business and Scania's CEO Christian Levin, discuss this topic in depth.
