Vehicle Performance
Tracking the performance of your vehicles is key to minimising their fuel consumption and delivering on your sustainability targets. By comparing vehicles of similar configurations, you can easily identify outliers and drill down into the details that can be optimised. Vehicle performance also allows you to generate automated environmental reports for both individual vehicles and the entire fleet – which can be an important help when it comes to securing new contracts.
Vehicle Performance provides a detailed overview of multiple data parameters tracked over a period – which enhances the understanding of the real-life fleet operation and helps identify
unnecessary waste.
The environmental reports that can be generated display calculated emissions of CO2, NOx, and hydrocarbons for any selected time period for both individual vehicles and the full fleet. And if running on alternative fuels, the emission specifications are customisable to ensure accuracy.
Environmental Report
The Environmental Report displays calculated emission values for your vehicles. The emission values are based on a vehicle's calculated fuel consumption.
You can view calculated emission values for the following substances in the report:
- Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
- Particles (PM)
- Hydrocarbons (HC)
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
- Carbon dioxide (CO2) for vehicles with a standard catalytic converter
Fuel Report
Fuel and reductant values are estimates derived from tank measurements, influenced by fuel movement within the tank and between tanks in vehicles with multiple tanks.
The report analyses
- Time (refuelling)
- Odometer
- Event
- Change
- Increase
- Driver
- Address
Performance overview
You have the ability to analyse vehicle data comprehensively. The crucial parameters for grasping the fleet's dynamics are listed below.
✓ Odometer (miles) | ✓ Distance driven (miles) |
✓ Fuel (gallons) | ✓ Fuel - idling (gallons) |
✓ Idling (h:m) | ✓ Engine running time (h:m) |
✓ Pause mode (h:m) | ✓ Idling (% of engine running time) |
✓ Fuel power take-off or fixed raised idling speed (gallons) | ✓ Fuel - driving and idling (miles/gallons) |
✓ Powertrain coasting (miles) | ✓ Powertrain coasting (% of distance) |
✓ Recommended platooning (miles) | ✓ Recommended platooning not used (miles) |
✓ Possible platooning (miles) | ✓ Distance with cruise control (miles) |
✓ Distance with trailer (miles) | ✓ Freewheel coasting (miles) |
✓ Driving (h:m) | ✓ Driving outside optimum engine speed band (h:m) |
✓ Speeding (h:m) | ✓ Harsh brake applications |
✓ Harsh brake accelerations | ✓ Average weight (tonnes) |
