Larkins Transport Limited grows with Scania Financial Services

Droitwich, Worcestershire-based Larkins Transport Limited is a specialist haulier providing a range of tanker services nationwide. The company has enjoyed sustained success since its formation in 2013 and is now on course to continue its growth with the recent acquisition of six used Scania R 450 and two 650 S and one 500 S trucks from Haydock Commercial Vehicles Limited, Haydock. In addition, a further three vehicles are now on order with Haydock Commercials.
The finance for Larkins’ new fleet vehicles is being provided by Scania Financial Services (SFS): “We have taken out a three-year finance agreement on each truck,” comments Nathan Griffiths, Transport Manager for Larkins Transport. “We have used SFS for some time and find them very good in all respects. They respond quickly to our needs and Darren Mottram, the SFS Business Manager who looks after us, has taken the time and trouble to understand our business requirements. In terms of the finance packages SFS offers us, we have only found one other provider who comes relatively close, and they were not a transport industry specialist like SFS.”
The vehicles acquired by Larkins Transport are a mix of Scania Go and Scania Retail Ready tractor units. While supplied by Haydock Commercials, the trucks will be serviced near to their operating base by Keltruck Droitwich. As part of the Scania used offer, SFS provides a range of flexible and tailored funding options to ensure a finance solution to meet every need. Included here are a choice of Hire Purchase, Finance Lease and Operating Lease options.
