Pumped up for success: DXB Integrate Limited, DXB Pump & Power and Scania Financial Services
2nd December 2022
DXB Integrate Limited is a dynamic young company involved in the rental of high efficiency industrial pump sets to its rapidly expanding portfolio of international clients. Operating primarily in the energy, mining and quarrying, and industrial tank cleaning sectors, DXB Integrate focuses on providing pump sets built to the highest environmental standards by its sister company, DXB Pump & Power Limited.
In 2020, DXB Pump & Power became the first UK pump set manufacturer to purchase Scania engines compliant with the EU’s Stage V industrial engine emissions standard. From an initial order for six units, DXB Pump & Power has continued to specify Scania as its preferred choice for engines in the 250-566kW power output range.
The latest development in the relationship between Scania and the DXB group has seen DXB Integrate take delivery of its first pump set financed on a five year hire purchase agreement by Scania Financial Services. “As an established Scania user, building a partnership with Scania Financial Services was a natural and logical step for us,” says DXB group owner Simon Ruffles. “What especially appealed to us is that Scania Financial Services are prepared to finance more than just Scania vehicles and engines, so we entered into discussions with them about funding complete Scania-powered pump sets. We were impressed that Alex Lomas, their Business Manager for Bus, Coach and Power Solutions, took the time to learn about our business and understand our needs. It rapidly became clear Scania Financial Services were keen to support our business operations.
“From our point, having Scania provide both engines and finance is extremely convenient, as it means both our engine supplier and finance provider effectively speak the same language. That greatly simplifies lines of communication, which is a great benefit to all concerned.
“Our first Scania Financial Services-funded pump set is now set to enter service with a client in the UK, and we look forward to further developing the successful partnership between our two organisations as DXB Integrate and DXB Pump & Power continue to grow and develop in the future.”
