Scania Financial Services moves into Scania Headquarters
SCANIA FINANCIAL SERVICES MOVES INTO SCANIA HEADQUARTERS
Scania Financial Services is on the move.
As of February 11, 2019, Scania Financial Services joined its colleagues at the Scania Great Britain head office in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.
The move for Financial Services is only a matter of miles from its current location, but promises better unification between the sales operations and financial services teams.
“The integration with the commercial operation will benefit both our dealers and customers, because there will be will be interaction at a more personal level,” explained David Hickman, Sales & Marketing Director, Scania Financial Services.
“While there has always been plenty of contact between sales operations and finance, being in the same building provides a different dynamic. It’s significant for both businesses and truly enables the provision of a ‘One Scania’ approach to our dealers and customers.”
The ability to apply synergies and communicate more directly will improve the overall service proposition added Hickman.
“It’s about changing our perception and our presence in the business, and about managing the ability of the business to grow more quickly. So when a dealer is writing business we have trucks, coaches and finance - that’s how it should be. It’s a much clearer marketing vision.”
The new address for Scania Financial Services will be: Delaware Drive, Tongwell, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire MK15 8HB. Contact numbers remain unchanged.
