Designed for the long run

The world keeps moving. The new generation Scania Touring moves with it. Every curve has been shaped to cut through air more cleanly, no matter how many miles it travels. Because a coach that goes further on less isn’t just good for business, it also reduces operational impact on the environment.

Engineered for better returns

Every mile has to earn its place. The new generation Scania Touring makes sure it does. Improved aerodynamics and a significantly more efficient powertrain mean lower costs. More luggage capacity, better spare parts availability and higher uptime keep it working harder for longer. Every detail designed to protect your bottom line. And your schedule.

Made for the hours and hours

Some journeys take time. The new generation Scania Touring makes sure no one's counting. A completely redesigned interior, a first-class driver area and improved passenger comfort make every seat worth sitting in. Better visibility, smarter controls and an elegant and distinctive Scania design that works from every angle.

Ready for the next road

A design that's moved forward

The new generation Scania Touring wears a distinctive new exterior, with a subtle honeycomb pattern running through the front bumper, headlights, fog and cornering lights, window black-offs, rear tail lights and rear engine hatch, finished in new colours and trims. A whole new set of exterior LED lights keeps the coach visible and safe on every road. And all-new digital rear-view mirrors give drivers a clearer view of their surroundings, while cutting air drag on every mile.

Take any road comfortably

On long journeys, passengers need to stay comfortable for countless hours. The new generation Scania Touring comes with upgraded, modern seats in two models: Comfort and Luxury, both with lateral adjustment as standard. Integrated service sets for stop, lighting and ventilation controls alongside an all-new ambient interior LED lighting create a relaxing, adjustable atmosphere. All while reduced air drag and chassis vibrations make the journey smoother than ever.

Built with safety in mind

The new generation Scania Touring is built to keep drivers comfortable, safe and in control on every road. A wider, electric driver window and a 90mm shift of the B-pillar give a larger field of vision, while an updated windscreen and Scania City Safe Window bring pedestrians, cyclists and blind spots into clearer view. And a new digitalised interface keeps drivers informed, without pulling focus from the road.

Greater efficiency takes you further with less

The body is updated to minimise air drag and boost fuel efficiency. Through the waterdrop-shaped design, rounded corners and the integrated roof spoiler, air moves smoothly around the coach. Compared to its predecessor, the new generation Scania Touring is also lighter in weight and comes with the highly efficient Super powertrain. Together, these improvements reduce both costs and emissions.

Bring an extra suitcase, or two

Increased luggage compartments make sure this generation Scania Touring is built for trips that don't pack light. The higher floor, along with added storage above the wheel arches, brings more luggage capacity. On the inside, the new luggage shelves hold up to 40% more than before, thanks to deeper shelf design. All while improved hatches, handles and lighting make loading and unloading even safer.
