Efficiency redefined
Scania’s Super powertrain is our most advanced and efficient combustion-engine powertrain ever built. Through industry-leading emissions control and fuel savings of up to 8 percent, it sets a new standard for sustainable transport. Compatible with HVO and FAME, it enables operators to reduce emissions footprint without investing in new infrastructure. In 2025, the portfolio was expanded with the Super 11 engine – lighter and more efficient than ever.

As an international standard for fast-charging electric trucks, Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is up to two times faster than today’s CCS2 standard, promising 80 percent battery charge in less than 30 minutes. In 2025, we announced the launch of the MCS for Scania’s BEV trucks.
