Our culture: The Scania Way

Our value creation is underpinned by our corporate culture, which we call The Scania Way. Deeply ingrained in our business, this culture is based on five core values that reflect our way of thinking and guide our day-to-day actions and decision-making. They support us in creating value for our stakeholders and ultimately, in our aim to be the leader in the shift towards a sustainable transport system. 

Our core values form the basis for all we do at Scania. They have been firmly anchored and integrated in Scania’s operations for generations. Our core values reflect and embody our thinking, our way of carrying out work and how we relate to each other and to others we meet outside the company – customers, suppliers, partners and society at large.

 

The core values guide our actions, support us in creating value for the company’s stakeholders and ultimately, in the aim to be a leader in the shift towards a sustainable transport system. We have to work closer together, embrace diverse perspectives, and find new ways to cooperate within and between our traditional organisations.
