We know that electric solutions aren’t feasible in all applications – yet. That’s why we work just as hard to reduce the environmental impact of our internal combustion engine (ICE) technology, and will do so for as long as those solutions remain in use. Both in standalone operation, as well as in hybrid electric configurations using our modular engineering approach. In parallel, we will continue to lead the transition towards electrification with our ground-breaking electric power systems.

Fuel-efficient, compact, and durable: these are some characteristics of the new Scania engine being highlighted by Italian Bruno Generators Group S.P.A.
The Italian specialist in rental gensets, Bruno, has had a long-term collaboration with Scania. The company is committed to finding new solutions that can help it reduce its emissions of CO2 and other harmful substances, and is currently running a field test of a 13-litre DC13 engine of Scania´s newest platform, the second-generation Scania Stage V engine for gensets.
