How Scania and Bellova cut CO2 at Paris–Beauvais Airport with B100 biodiesel buses

10 DECEMBER 2025

Airports worldwide are working to reduce their emissions – and at Paris–Beauvais Airport, Scania and Bellova are showing how that shift can happen today.

As one of the ten largest airports in France, Paris–Beauvais serves thousands of passengers every day. Around 40 % of travellers reach their flight by bus, making public transport a key factor in reducing total emissions. Together with Scania, Bellova has renewed its fleet with 40 biodiesel buses running on B100, a 100 % renewable fuel that significantly lowers CO₂ emissions while maintaining the performance required for nearly continuous operation.

The switch to renewable fuel is part of a broader ambition to decarbonise airport mobility and create a more sustainable travel experience – not just for passengers, but for the entire local community.

Scania’s partnership with Bellova demonstrates how collaboration and practical solutions can accelerate the transition towards cleaner transport. With reliable vehicles, renewable fuels and responsive service support, Scania helps operators meet their sustainability targets without compromising on uptime or efficiency.

Cleaner air, lower emissions and dependable transport – small steps that move people, and sustainability, forward.
