Smart Factory Lab enhances production efficiency

Established in 2019, Scania’s Smart Factory Lab is an in-house incubator that tests and trials new technologies that can enhance production efficiency.
The Lab has recruited young engineers from several countries who together explore the latest technologies with the potential to be introduced into Scania’s production. Following limited trials managed by the Lab, successful new devices and methods can gainfully be implemented throughout Scania’s global production system.
