Next mile

A sustainable transport forum hosted by Scania

The transition to a sustainable transport system is one of the defining challenges of our time, and one that demands real dialogue and action from those who shape it. It’s a global issue, but one that is driven on a local level.

For more than a decade, Scania has organised international conferences dedicated to sustainability. As the transition evolves, so does our approach. While the challenge is global, progress happens locally. A stronger regional focus makes these discussions even more relevant and concrete, giving sustainable transport greater meaning.

The Sustainable Transport Forum will bring together leading decision-makers, experts, and innovators from business, policy and academia for a half-day of dialogue and strategic reflection on how to accelerate the shift toward a sustainable transport system.

The challenge is global.

The change happens locally.

Our regional conferences serve as platforms for dialogue and collaboration, inspiring the action needed to enable the transition towards a more sustainable transport system at the local level.

Sustainable transport

At Scania, there is no separate strategy for sustainability. Instead, sustainability is at the core of our business strategy. We believe there are great global opportunities in driving the shift towards a more sustainable transport system. To achieve this goal, we must both do the right things in terms of solutions for sustainable transport but also act as a responsible business and do things right environmentally, socially and ethically.
