2020: Science Based Targets approved
Scania becomes the world’s first heavy vehicle manufacturer to set Science Based Targets, challenging business-as-usual in the industry. Promising to reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions with 50 % and Scope 3 emissions with 20 % between 2015 and 2025 is sending a clear signal to employees, partners and customers that we need to take a collective ownership of climate change and turn every stone to transform the world of transport to a sustainable one.
