2012: Introducing 1,000 hp V8 marine engine
Scania introduced the powerful 1,000 hp V8 marine engine with a “test and ride” in the Stockholm archipelago for selected customers and media. In late 2012, the engine was also launched in the North American market at the International Work Boat Show in New Orleans, USA.
