1991: New streamline cab range
With the new Streamline cab range, Scania takes a unique step forward in refining aerodynamics. Designers have paid minute attention to detail to make this model an industry benchmark in terms of air drag. Compared to previous models it cuts the drag factor by 12-15 percent and fuel consumption by 4-5 percent. Streamline receives a lot of attention and gains cult status among truck fans all over Europe.

In 1912, Scania-Vabis delivered this fire truck to Norrköping, Sweden. It was equipped with a 4-cylinder, 60 hp engine. Maximum speed was 40 km/h. -
