Celebrating 40 years in business is a remarkable achievement, and we're proud to share the story of long-standing customer Tim Rutter Haulage Ltd, whose dedication and passion have driven four successful decades in the haulage industry.

Tim first entered the industry in 1986 when he purchased his first truck – an 8-wheel tipper – and began building his business from the ground up. Since then, hard work and determination have helped him grow and sustain a successful operation for 40 years.

Over the last few years, Tim has built a strong relationship with West Pennine Trucks, purchasing five Scania vehicles through our team, including his first Scania, a G 450 and most recently, a Scania R 560 to mark his 40-year business milestone.

Having previously operated a Volvo, Tim decided to make the switch to Scania and hasn't looked back since.

"I've never had an issue with the trucks. The quality of the product is excellent, and that's a big reason why I keep coming back."

When asked about his experience with our Oswestry depot, Tim praised the team's commitment to customer service and highlighted the support he receives from Sales Executive, Richard Barnes.

"The team sort things as soon as they can, and Richard is always straight talking. That's exactly what you want."

For Tim, having a trusted dealership behind him is just as important as operating reliable trucks.

"Whether it's parts, service questions or general support, I know there's always somebody at the end of the phone to help. They look after me."
