What does the apprenticeship look like?

A programme designed to make the most out of your potential.
Through a combination of practical and theoretical learning; our three-year apprenticeship programme is designed to make the most out of your potential. You will learn how to diagnose and repair faults, use state-of-the-art diagnostics equipment and carry out routine maintenance. At the end of the course, you will graduate with two industry-recognised level 3 qualifications and begin the next step in your career with TruckEast.
Guiding you through.
During your apprenticeship, you'll receive several formal checks to ensure you're on the right path. But really you've always got someone steering you forward. Your mentor, who is assigned in your first week, is your support and guide - sharing their experiences and expertise so you learn from the best. You'll also receive support from your branch, as well as the Scania training academy.
Hands on training.
Every 8 - 12 weeks you will attend formal training in Loughborough at Scania's Learning Academy. This facility features a fully fitted workshop and state-of-the-art training rooms.
The most important part of your apprenticeship is the combination of both practical and theoretical training to ensure that you are prepared for that next step.
