Tipper truck

A hard working partner

Tipper trucks are optimised for hard work

While some have the need for flexibility to carry anything, others demand a vehicle specified for a certain load and road. There is no typical tipper operation, yet the vehicle is present throughout the entire construction process. Specifying it for its task will get you far in terms of productivity.

A tipper body tailored to your needs

This tipper vehicle is an example of what a solution could look like. It is tailored specifically for a customer working as a sub-contractor to larger building projects. They mainly operate on poor road conditions, and suffer minor damages due to rough conditions. They need a flexible finance solution, and a profitable plan for repair and maintenance in their own workshop.

Scania XT-range. Featuring a sturdy one-piece steel bumper, carrying a towing pin with a capacity of 40 tonnes, head lamp protections, robust mirror casings, tailored powertrain and chassis specification to suit the operation the XT-vehicle is sure to be a robust and durable business partner.

Cab. The G-series day cab with normal roof offers an excellent driver environment with ample storage. The side body step will make it easy to climb up to the tipper body for inspection of the load.

Rear axle gear. The hub reduction rear axle gear, RBP735 with leaf suspension, offers excellent comfort and traction both loaded and unloaded. With robustness, high ground clearance and high loading capacity as a result it’s the optimal choice in rough conditions.

Air intake & exhaust outlet. High air intake to match the dust level at the site, lowering the maintenance cost and increasing uptime. In addition, a vertical exhaust system is suggested to avoid the exhaust swirling up dust.

Services. Scania Customer Workshop Services, ensuring Scania personnel at your own workshop and high availability of spare parts would be a great choice for this customer. As would opening a credit line for various vehicles, valid for both financial lease and operating lease, focusing on a short-term or digressive payment plan.
