Another Scania Touring for Moving People Limited
Oswaldtwistle, near Blackburn, Lancashire-based coach operator Moving People Limited has taken delivery of a Scania Touring HD coach. Representing the third Scania Touring taken by the company, the vehicle is based on a 13.7-metre overall length Scania K 410 EB 6x2*4 three-axle, rear-steer chassis. The Touring body is equipped with 59 reclining seats with USB charging points at each seat, three-point seatbelts, a DVD player and two monitors, a Frenzel drinks machine, extra dark tinted glass and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
Moving People Director, Glen Chamberlain, comments, "This is the third Scania Touring we have bought in as many years and it does the job very well. I am pleased to add it to our fleet and put it straight to work on our own holiday tour programme. We know from experience that the Touring is a success with our customers and it continues to reinforce our company’s brand and reputation. The Touring looks great and is well specified, it delivers good fuel economy and represents good value both in terms of cost-new and high residual values. In essence, it’s a tool to do a job and it does it very well indeed.
"Richard Austin, our Regional Account Manager from Scania Bus & Coach, has an operators background and that made getting the right deal first time much easier. It was refreshing dealing with someone who genuinely understands an operator’s needs."
