Scania sponsors #SwedenOnTour

Scania (Great Britain) Limited is proud to be announced as the main sponsor of #SwedenOnTour, which will see the Swedish Embassy tour the United Kingdom from 25 May to 8 June.  Scania's sponsorship involves providing transport for the tour in the form of a fully-liveried tour coach, and driver, for the full duration of the event.

"Scania enjoys a close working relationship with the Swedish Embassy in the UK and we are delighted to be supplying a coach and driver to facilitate the Embassy's tour of the UK," comments Scania (Great Britain) Limited Managing Director Martin Hay.  "The coach will begin its journey at our new UK Support Centre in Milton Keynes, which Sweden's Ambassador to the UK is visiting on Wednesday 22 May to inaugurate the premises."

Since launching a major programme of investment in new state-of-the-art premises in 2015, Scania has been supported by Sweden's Ambassador to the UK on four separate occasions at the inauguration of flagship service centres in Inverness, Maidstone, Bridgwater and Gatwick. The Ambassador also officiated at the inauguration of the new premises of Haydock Commercial Vehicles, one of Scania's independent UK dealers.

The vehicle being supplied to #SwedenOnTour is a Scania Interlink HD Finesse, which has an overall height of 3.60-metres and features a high deck to allow for a large volume of luggage without compromising the passenger compartment. Designed as a multi-use coach, the Scania Interlink is a versatile vehicle equally at home on working on school contracts and commuting to private hire, excursions and touring.
