Scania Irizar i6S for Gastonia
Cranleigh, Surrey-based Gastonia Coaches has recently taken delivery of its latest coach, a 360 horsepower Scania K 360 IB4x2 chassis with Irizar i6S bodywork.
The new vehicle is Gastonia’s first Euro 6 Scania, and is luxuriously appointed with 53 reclining seats, three-point seatbelts and USB charging points at each seat. Onboard fitments include a DVD player with three monitors, a drinks machine. The vehicle is also equipped with a road-facing camera and Alcoa Dura-Bright alloy wheels.
The coach has a two year Repair and Maintenance package and will be maintained by Scania Gatwick.
Gastonia Coaches is a family run business which has been operating for 55 years. The company's new Scania Irizar i6S is named Josie Lillian after Managing Director Josie Bicknell. Josie is the daughter of Reg Noakes who was the founder of Gastonia. In keeping with the family's tradition, Josie’s son and daughter Scott and Sarah are also Directors of the business.
