Job description, responsibilities and duties

The main responsibility of the Business Controller is to create and drive an active dialogue with managers and other employees in financial understanding, performance and profitability. This is achieved by actively challenge existing ways of working and identifying improvement opportunities and by pro-actively setting and following up targets. Ensuring a correct business support considering performance, risk control and achievement of business objectives throughout the organisation.

Key responsibility areas:

• Providing proactive support to the managers in understanding of the financial figures and financial model
• Act as a partner to operations with a high understanding of our business and processes
• Responsible for business performance monitoring and control
• Business oriented and proactive work to systematically improve performance
• Running analysis and interpretation of results and KPI’s
• Monitoring policies, design steering models and establish standards
• Investment analysis, planning, calculation and control
• Understand and act according to the Scania way frame work

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

• Relevant education and equivalent work experience is required
  
• Fluent knowledge of English language is a must
• Responsible, analytical, detailed oriented personality, with focus on internal customer and with ability to understand business processes
