The newly revamped depot officially opened its doors this month to reveal not just a complete facelift but a larger, better equipped, more environmentally friendly operation.
Located on Hamlin Way, PE30 4NG, the depot now measures a total of 4000m2 giving space for a larger yard area, a new workshop, and more office room. With the extra space now available, the branch has created 4 new jobs for the local area.
To help reduce the impact of carbon emissions, energy saving features have been installed throughout the site, including the use of efficient LED lighting, full insulation, and skylights - all in the ongoing effort to become as sustainable a business as possible.
Neil Ryder, Depot Manager said: “The addition of the new workshop is exactly what we needed here in Kings Lynn. We are now better equipped to provide more efficient workshop services making it easier for our team to continue to provide the first-class service that our customers deserve. With the new exterior look and the new interior facilities, TruckEast Kings Lynn is certainly an enjoyable depot to work at.”
