SHANE WAREING JOINS TRUCKEAST BOARD

Looking to future growth, TruckEast's Shane Wareing, General Manager for Used vehicles, is appointed to Used Sales Director and welcomed onto the Board of Directors. 

Promoted from within, Shane has held responsibility for the used division at TruckEast since joining the business back in 2010.  But his roots in the commercial industry, go right back to when he began his career as an apprentice panel beater.

Creating and building on solid foundations for the used department, he has supported new truck customers with residual values and grown both the used retail and trade operations significantly with an average of 60% volume over the last ten years.

Commenting on his appointment, Shane says, “TruckEast has a fantastic reputation and has always had a family feel to it – something that attracted me in the first place. I am humbled to have achieved this level in my career and delighted that the hard graft has paid off. In this ever-changing marketplace, I look forward to the opportunities the future will bring. And together, with the other Directors, further develop TruckEast’s position, as a leading commercial dealer group.”

His experience in the industry and specifically with our customer base makes him a welcome addition to our executive board.”

Further changes to the TruckEast board include Harley Coulson becoming Sales and Operations Director, in which he will take a wider role in the business. And Martyn Clipston, formally taking responsibility as Group Aftersales Director for all branches, except for Wellingborough which remains under the control of Director Graham Broughton. All changes are effective from 1st January, 2021.
