Salary payments

PAYMENT OF SALARY

Salary payments are normally made on the 22nd of each month. If the 22nd is a Saturday, the salary is paid on Friday and on Monday if the 22nd is a Sunday.

For regular employees, a so-called advance salary is applied. This means that the full monthly salary is paid the current month for the entire month. Deviations are handled by a time report the following month. If you start your employment after the 10th of the month, you will receive your first salary payment the following month.

Summer worker?

Salary payments for summer workers are always paid the month after hours worked. For example, if you work in June, your salary will be paid in July.

Register account number and bank for salary payment

Scania doesn’t handle employees account number, therefor you need to register your account information on Swedbank’s website in order for your salary/compensation to be paid out to your account.

You must provide the information directly to Swedbank before your first salary payment is made.

Notify account to Swedbank's account register (Swedish only)

Note that this requires a Swedish personal ID number and e-identfication or a co-ordination number.  If you don't have that:

  • when you arrive at Scania, call the payroll administration for information about your first salary payment.
