SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Currently the company is looking for a competent and highly motivated individual for the position of:
The Role:
- Performing daily accounting tasks – General Ledger, Receivables, Payables, Cash and Bank, leasing contracts validation, processing of expense reports, organizing and processing all Active participation in monthly Group reporting, Central Bank reporting, Statutory reporting etc. Preparing financial statements and tax declarations according to the Bulgarian and International Accounting Standards with support by the Chief Accountant
- Participation in the budgeting and forecasting, as well as of the group reporting to the company’s headquarter in Sweden and regional management on a regular basis
- Maintaining relations with banks, financial institutions and state authorities
- Supporting annual audit activities
- Demonstrate proactiveness and continuous improvement mindset by participating in ERP process improvement projects
- Supporting other administrative functions and participate in different projects within the company
The Person:
- University degree in Accounting or Economics
- Minimum 3 years track record in a Senior Accountant role preferably in a local subsidiary to an international company; financial institution experience is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian accounting regulations as well as of the IFRS
- In-depth understanding of the Bulgarian tax legislation
- Very good English knowledge and reliable computer skills (MS Excel, accounting software)
- Experience with ERP systems and participation in ERP improvement projects is highly appreciable
- Independent and responsible person, ensuring accounting accuracy in the company and able to meet strict deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy, capable to work under time-pressure
- A team-player with a “can-do” mindset
