Overview
This role is responsible for managing the overall Sales activity within the designated region to achieve business objectives. They are responsible for the promotion and selling of new Scania vehicles and promoting our services within the designated region, developing the sales network and upholding a positive brand image.
essential duties and job responsibilities
- Ensure the creation, development and promotion of Scania products and services to new and existing customers working in accordance with agreed sales and market development strategies, meeting sales volumes and targets,
- Facilitate negotiation and refinement of detailed contracts between the Company and customers,
- Build and develop customer relationships within the region, acting as a communication channel between the customer and Company through regular customer contact, providing relevant updates on the full range of Scania products and services,
- Responsible for achieving the region’s profit plan, sales objectives and operational costs, evaluating statistics sales reports, comparing results achieved to forecasts and analysing differences,
- Maintain consistent communication with colleagues and customers, ensuring a timely follow-up
- Monitor market and competitor activity, trends and demands, and inform the Sales Director,
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Scania products and Services, and attend training where required,
- Work in cooperation with other departments to achieve business objectives, ensuring that there is open, professional, and effective communication,
- Support and promote a safe and healthy work environment maintaining safe work practices at all times,
- Comply with Company policies and procedures, including the completion of required documents and records,
- Promote and work with the Scania Dealer Operating Standards (DOS) to ensure uniform quality standards in all areas of the business
