Job Type: Monday - Friday 08:00-18:00 and alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00, Full-time, Permanent

Apply today to work amongst our highly-energised team at Crick branch. Your role would be responsible for the smooth daily operation of the Parts Reception working within a strong team environment and delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by way of exceptional communication

essential duties and job responsibilities

  • Ensure a steady and realistic flow of available work through the workshop.
  • Support and maintain customer’s service schedules, MOT and O Licence requirements.
  • Ideally a Technical Awareness will be required so as to be able to provide basic advice and estimates to customers
  • Audit job cards (work orders) and associated service documentation for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures.
  • Ensure Service / Inspection Documentation are correctly completed and customer defect procedures adhered to.
  • Assist in maintaining a daily flow of quality job cards to Administration for costing/invoicing.
  • Ensure Health & Safety and safe work practices are met at all times within this positions working environment.
  • Check and issue sublet order numbers to specialist / external agents and to arrange / plan such works as required
  • Run Back Counters
  • Pick and deliver correct parts to  workshop on time
  • Complete relevant documentation including invoices etc.
  • Work together with the workshop and other departments
  • Return warranty and service exchange units regularly
  • Receive and inspect all packages delivered ,resolving any problems
  • Stock Management
  • Department housekeeping
  • Parts ordering
  • Deal with suppliers
  • Control stock in cost effective manner
  • Deal with customers/colleagues in professional manner
  • Chase Supplier Credits
  • Work at any branch as required
  • Any other general duties as designated by the Manager

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Scania parts and systems
  • Current driving licence
  • Ability to work within a team  
  • Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
