The Workshop Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the Workshop. Overseeing the Technician team, ensuring key performance indicators are achieved, whilst maintaining positive relationships with our customer

• Manage the workshop control operation, planning workload and resource and ensuring there is an efficient flow of authorised work, and relevant internal / customer documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Strive to deliver or exceed branch key performance indicators: MOT First time pass rate, Workshop Productivity, Customer Satisfaction Index
• Scania Dealer Operating Standards targets
• Financial performance of the workshop operation
• Lead and motivate staff
• Build and develop customer relationships
• Liaise with parts department to ensure planned work is fully catered for
• Obtaining correct authority for repairs to be carried out
• Manage workshop administration processes
• Ensure appropriate clocking’s are made and all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
• Participate in and promote all Scania GB / TruckEast initiatives
•  Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager

• Technical qualification, or required technical knowledge obtained through time-served
• Current driving licence
• Ability to work within and manage a team
