The Workshop Foreman is responsible for the smooth running of the Workshop. Overseeing the Technician team, ensuring key performance indicators are achieved, whilst maintaining positive relationships with our customers.

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard 
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults 
• Oversee branch team, including monitoring timekeeping and productivity, authorising overtime, and identifying training needs 
• Establish a positive working relationship with all branch departments and other branches 
• Achieve and strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreements 
• Deal with queries in an effective manner, ensuring all actions are met  
• Assist in training and development programs for branch staff 
• Maximise the profitability of both parts and service departments, including continual improvements in utilisation of staff and efficiency levels 
• Lead and motivate the team 
• Access, produce and follow up all quotations for all types of equipment 
• Remain up to date with all relevant legal requirements 
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained to the required standard 
• Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager

• Technical Qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Qualified Technician) or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles
• Current driving licence
• Autoline 8.35 use
• Supervisory or management experience
• LGV/HGV licence
• Current driving license
