Job Type: Monday - Friday, Alternating shift patterns of 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00

Crick is actually one of our busiest dealerships, they cover services from Analogue Tachograph Inspection and Repairs, to Gas Vehicle Services, and it takes an amazing team to repair and maintain the amount of trucks that come through this branch. Interested in being a part of this team?
The semi-skilled technician’s role within TruckEast is to support the maintenance of commercial vehicles and trailers to
MOT standard.
essential duties and job responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
- Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
- Ensure appropriate clocking is made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
- Attend all required training courses
- Support workshop operational processes
- Assist in supporting departments when necessary
- Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds level 2 or 3 or NVQ in a relevant subject)
- Workshop/engineering experience within a relevant role and industry
- Current driving licence
- Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
- Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines
- IT literate
- Ability to work under pressure
- Solution-driven approach
- Computer literate
- Excellent customer care skills
- Possess excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
- Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- ADR (non essential)
