Job Type: Full time, Permanent, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00.

 

Reporting to: Regional Aftersales Manager

 

Overview

The Branch Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the aftersales service provided to our customers in the branch, managing staff and working within financial budgets.

 

essential duties and job responsibilities

▪  Manage and maximise the profitability of both parts and service departments, including continual improvements in utilisation of staff and efficiency of organisation

▪  Budgeting in conjunction with Regional Aftersales Manager

▪  Selection and recruitment of staff in all departments (in conjunction with RASM)

▪  Contribute to the development of all operating and administrative systems to ensure that quality, efficient and timely work is carried out

▪  Remain up to date with all relevant legal requirements

▪  Achieve and strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreements

▪  Identify and implement a training plan for all branch staff 

▪  Ensure premises are maintained to a high standard, inline with Scania Dealer Operating standards

▪  Ensure premises security measures are always adequate

▪  Actively seek new business in conjunction with ASM/BDE

▪  Ensure all invoice related queries are dealt with in a timely manner

▪  Monitor Warranty / Contract ledger 

▪  Actively participate in all SGB measured campaigns and competitions

▪  Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager

 

Candidate requirements

▪  Knowledge of Scania systems (advantageous)

▪  Experience of running a Retail workshop

▪  Proven track record in delivering financial results whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service

▪  Current driving licence

▪  Ability to work within a team

▪  Ability to work within guidelines and to deadlines

▪  Excellent written and oral communication skills

▪  Excellent customer service skills

▪  Detail orientated

▪  High level of computer literacy

▪  Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety 

▪  Excellent Leadership skills requirements

▪  Ability to work under pressure and have a solution driven approach

▪  Possess excellent accuracy and numeracy skills

▪  Excellent organisation and analytical skills

▪  Experience of working with Scania products
