The Yard operative / Driver is responsible for the smooth running of the branch yard. Ensuring an efficient operation, through 

high standards of housekeeping, customer communication and movement and maintenance of vehicles

• Organise and maintain yard and workshop cleanliness and safety standards
• Support in the movement of vehicles around the site
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance tasks on company vehicles
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Assist with inventory management, including stock organisation
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
• Collection and delivery of customer and company vehicles
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned to the required standard, including steam cleaning operations
• Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your 
• manager

• General knowledge of the Industry
• A general knowledge of maintenance practices
• Current HGV driving licence
• Ability to work within a team
