Come and join our TE Fleet Corby branch, where we specialise in all things commercial, whether that is service contracts for vehicles, trailers or tail-lift, MOT's or tachograph services. We're looking for a Shift Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of the workshop, alongside being a productive member of the workshop team. Responsible for the technician team, you will ensure key performance indicators are achieved, whilst maintaining positive relationships with our customers.

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to DVSA standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
• Oversee the branch team, including monitoring time keeping and productivity, authorising overtime, and identifying training needs
• Establish a positive working relationship with all branch departments and other branches
• Achieve and strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreements
• Deal with queries in an effective manner, ensuring all actions are met
• Assist in training and development programs for branch staff
• Maximise the profitability of both parts and service departments, including continual improvements in utilisation of staff and efficiency levels
• Lead and motivate the team
• Access, produce and follow up all quotations for all types of equipment
• Remain up to date with all relevant legal requirements
• Ensure company vehicles are maintained to the required standard
• Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager

• Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Qualified Technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles
• General knowledge of the automotive industry
• Current driving licence
• Supervisory or management experience
• LGV/HGV licence is desirable
• Ability to work within a team
