Floor level
The low entry point and flat floor up to the central doors area offer the same accessibility as for the low floor version in the front and middle sections. In the rear section a higher floor creates better view for passangers. The widened aisle contributes to increased accessibility, comfort and passanger flow.

The low entry Scania K-chassis is available in several variants enabling it to meet different operational demands.

The low entry Scania K-chassis meet the needs of operators on every continent. With total design and production control over chassis and powertrain, Scania delivers unrivalled reliability, durability and performance.
Quality chassis frame
The strong front axle and ability to use wide tyres give a load capacity of 8.2 tonnes, allowing high passenger capacity and optimised weight distribution between the front- and rear axles, important not least for gas- and electric buses. Available with rigid- or independent front suspension, the latter offers excellent passenger comfort and, by enabling a wide aisle (900 mm), also provides layout possibilities that increase passenger flow, space and accessibility. Further, chassis weight is kept down without compromising on safety or robustness.
Advanced powertrain technology
Scania´s dependable powertrains are available in battery electric and ICE variants, both offering highly energy efficient propulsion. While the BEV uses a powerful 300 kW (peak) e-machine, the combustion powertrains come in a range of power options to suit local and operational needs.
Sustainable range
The battery electric variants can be specified with up to 520 kWh of installed energy, providing a range of over 500 km in optimal conditions. Our batteries are developed with responsibility as a guiding star, aiming for environmental- and social sustainability in the production process as well as in the supply chain. Produced with fossil-free electricity in northern Sweden, their carbon footprint is only around one third of comparable industry batteries. And with cells designed to power heavy commercial vehicles for 1,5 million kilometers, they are of premium quality and built to last.
Unrivalled uptime
Well-designed and built on proven technology and components, the Scania K-chassis are both dependable and robust. Safety systems and digital services help prevent accidents, and sensitive and expensive components are protected in the event of a collision, avoiding costly and time-consuming repairs. Uptime services help minimise downtime and, when needed, remote diagnostics and excellent parts availability can rapidly get the bus back on the road.

An overall well-balanced vehicle, a powerful and reliable powertrain, good visibility, and a great turning radius make for excellent drivability. Scania´s wide range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) supports the driver, whether on the open highway or in busy city environments. The various functions increase road safety by keeping the driver alert and the vehicle in the right position, while also controlling the speed and distance from other road users.
