4,204 (3,681) buses and 2,762 (2,441) industrial and marine engines were delivered during the period.

December deliveries are estimated to be lower than those of October and November due to fewer working days.

The order intake on the European market is stable. In Latin America the order intake has weakened. The market activity in the Far East remains low.

Our expectation stated in the nine month report of a full year result for 1997 in the same range as 1996 is unchanged.
