Our new in-house assembled battery packs are not only the world’s greenest, but also offer both increased capacity and faster charging, with updated management systems and software for both the e-machine and batteries.

Range and power

The electric powertrain delivers substantial power and instant torque. Fully electric power take off enables continuous emission free operation of both hydraulics and refrigeration units. With up to 250 km range on a single charge, you can cover both short and medium range routes on pure electric power.

More than transports

The ability to perform 100% clean transports is an increasingly common requirement to secure new contracts, no matter if you do distribution of goods – or run waste collection, hook lifts, tippers, or concrete mixers. As such, it’s not just an investment in your physical fleet, but also in your brand, market competitiveness and your future.

Sustainability goes regional with our battery electric trucks

Available both as a rigid truck and as a trailer tractor – offering new drivelines, improved batteries, faster and more powerful charging capabilities, 370 km range at 40 tonnes load and 260 km range at the 64 tonnes max GTW. There are two electric machines to chose from, with power ranging from 270 to 450 kW continuous power. The electric machines can be supplemented by a range of PTO options, to power a wide variety of applications.

But powertrain aside, the battery packs are now assembled in-house at Scania, to perfectly fit both the strengthened chassis and the new placement of the charging interface – on the left hand side behind the driver door. Closely connected is the completely reworked heating and cooling system, keeping powertrain and battery components at their perfect operating temperature, and allowing excellent control of the cabin climate – right at your fingertips through our digital platforms. The aerodynamics of the cab has also been further improved with wind deflector extensions to ensure every kWh provides the maximum distance and range.
