December 5, 2025, Rugao

The Scania Industrial Hub in Rugao reached a major milestone as the first locally-produced Scania Super trucks officially rolled off the line and are delivered. This important step marks the accelerated phase of Scania’s “Strategy 2.0” in the Chinese market. Chinese customers, long awaiting these locally-produced Super trucks, can now access them more easily. Scania’s professional sales and service teams have fully begun vehicle delivery procedures. This ensures customers to experience the outstanding performance of the Scania Super as soon as possible, and enjoy the full lifecycle after-sales support as always.

These Super trucks delivered in Rugao are built to Scania’s global production standards, ensuring Chinese customers receive the same top-level product performance as the global market. Thanks to local production, Scania has optimised its supply chain and delivery processes. The time from order to delivery is now significantly shorter, allowing customers to put their trucks into operation faster and seize business opportunities.

David Källsäter, Managing Director of Scania Sales (China) Co., Ltd., said: “We understand our customers’ urgent need for efficient logistics and the importance of time for their business. One of the key benefits of local production is the faster response it brings, allowing us to deliver products to customers more quickly. Today, Chinese customers can experience the world-class performance of this truck at a faster pace.”

Looking ahead, Scania Sales China will continue to leverage the Scania Industrial Hub in Rugao to expand its range of locally-produced trucks, strengthen supply security and customer response in China, and provide more efficient and reliable transport solutions for Chinese customers.
