To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

Advanced detailed knowledge within network security, especially within firewall, load balancer, proxy server and VPN.

General IT network security awareness - ability to assess risks based on traffic protocol type, flow, application or node

Good understanding of FQDN objects and?their?functionality?

Understanding of dynamic objects?

Good understanding of global objects and policies?

Expert knowledge in using?SmartLog?filtering to drill down root cause during investigations??

Confident use of network troubleshooting SRE-CLI tools like name lookup, ICMP etc.?

Proficient in at least one industry mainstream networking solution and redundant backup solution, and experienced in implementation, deployment, operation and maintenance.

Education and/or Experience

A university education within IT or equivalent experience?

Experience of IaaS & PaaS with cloud providers

More than 2 years of network & firewall operation and maintenance experience in the similar campus network (more than 300 NC)

Proficient in at least one industry mainstream networking solution and redundant backup solution, and experienced in implementation, deployment, operation and maintenance

Familiar with configuration, debugging, monitoring of Cisco network products, familiar with SAN storage management projects, and experienced in implementation, deployment and management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

SDWAN and Fortinet technologies

Experience in operation and maintenance implementation in large campus network, ISP ***, enterprise network, data center network and other fields.

Skillfully use OSPF, BGP, Layer 2/3 switching, vlan, spanning tree, policy routing, WLAN, MPLS-VPN, MLAG, IPSEC VPN, VXLAN, NAC and other technologies to help business departments achieve application requirements.

Proficient in basic theoretical knowledge of data communication, such as TCP/IP, MSTP, SDN, cloud computing, virtualization technology, etc.

Have the ability to analyze and solve complex network problems, and experience in scheme design, planning, implementation and maintenance of network construction projects is preferred.

Good logical thinking ability, sense of teamwork, good at finding problems and proposing solutions.
