A brief summary of the provided position as below :

Marketing & Communication Manager is a key role in the organisation, leading the digital innovation and communicating both strategic as operational messages throughout the organisation to all employees, dealers and media.

He/she is well familiar with the different stakeholders and target audiences and how to address those in the most efficient way. Communication plays an important part in achieving highly engaged and motivated employees and to build the Scania brand internally and externally.

Active presence and content strategy in customer/driver relevant online channels (Social Media, Search, Web, Livestream etc.) is a key for this role. He/she is experienced with the digital channel content and communication, with good understanding of online sales strategy.

 

Duties and Tasks

1.Lead and manage operations - Ensure there is a clear structure to define, implement and follow up activities decided in the Business Plan

  • Develop and execute a strategic brand, internal and executive communications plan
  • Work in close partnership with all other Business Areas; Human Resources, Sales and Services, product areas, dealers and development projects to support with communication initiatives from concept to delivery. Be a creative resource in projects and add graphical and writing competence to operational descriptions and material.
  • Development of a variety of internal and executive communications including presentations, newsletters, articles, films to reach a defined target audience in the best way. Plan and manage all resources involved in a communications project.
  • Ensure communication efficiency and monitor usage of each communication channel consistently
  • Be the expert, and first line support to the organisation, in using the internal channels such as WeChatWork, Reflex, Digital Signage, Dreambroker, Apsis etc. in the most efficient and consistent way.

2.Drive Digital Communication and innovation - Lead the digital marketing according to sales and marketing strategy

  • Drive digital innovation in communication to effectively reach selected target groups and reduce waste in printed materials
  • Active presence and content strategy in customer/driver relevant online channels (Social Media, Search, Web and Mobile)
  • Set relevant KPI’s for each digital channel and ability to track/follow-up inbound leads
  • Monitor developing trends in the digital area
  • Support the sales and services organisation with digital tools that improve customer experience and reduce waste in print
  • Automate lead generation and follow-up (CRM) with the help of digital tools where feasible and applicable

3.Managing improvement work according to the Scania Way (SRS) - Set agenda for standardized work methods and improvement activities and manage resources within the same department

  • Follow up on Improvement activities and goals in connection to the business objectives
  • Ensure transfer of best practice between teams within the same department
  • Understanding the difference between and work with both market plan activities (business improvements) and process improvements (continuous improvements)

 

Education and/or Experience

  1. University or above in Marketing, Communication, Journalism major or related;
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. 5 -7 years experiences in PR, managing digital communication channels, proven record of digital campaign experience
  4. Automobile industry experience is preferred;
  5. Knowledge and ability to use available digital tools and channels
  6. Working experiences with project management;
