Scania has decided to install a 3rd industrial hub in China besides the industrial installations in Europe and Latin America. The factories in the new hub will be Final Assembly, Cab Production, Engine Assembly, and Transmission Assembly with related Logistics functions.
In the role, you will be a part of an exciting journey, to in the first step set the base for Logistics Line Feeding at the new hub during the project phase and later start up the line functions and close cooperation with the functions in Europe and South America will be really important for a successful start.
Engine Assembly Production includes Logistics Line feeding and the project is in the implementation-phase, and you will have a great opportunity to have an impact on the future of Logistics for Scania in China. Your role and scope may vary over time according to the needs of the entire Engine Assembly and Logistics project.
As Logistic manager you will be responsible to implement logistic process according with project definitions, logistic concepts and sub process like Logistic Development, Material Administration, Logistic Operation and Local Planning also management activities connected with daily operations.
