Communications Senior Manager

A brief summary of the provided position as below:

The main responsibility of the Communications Manager is to manage external and internal communication in the company (online and offline), create and develop the public image of the brand/product and the satisfaction of customers and ensure the creation of relevant and consistent messages towards selected target groups via the right channels (right message at the right time and through the right channels). Optimize efficiency and foster a company culture according to corporate values.

 

Responsibilities:

1) Marketing Strategy

  • Formation and implementation of a competitive and constant product-,marketing-, event- and communication strategy in order to increase the brand image, communicate product benefits for the entire model range, support acquisition of new customers and to increase customer loyalty. Define and support sales channels (e-commerce) & service network standards (e.g. coverage, premises, capacity, corporate identity, processes and systems) in cooperation with CO Network Development. Manage development and maintenance online channels in line with marketing strategies.
  • Main contact person for trademark/corporate identity questions.

2) Communications

  • Ensure a consistent brand and product communication for wholesale and retail in different Medias. Organize and operate sales promotions, exhibitions and product launches in close cooperation with product management and sales departments. Set parameters for the implementation of marketing communication programs and sales promotion activities in support to sales targets.

3) Event and Sponsoring Activities

  • Support national events (e.g. vehicle launch, fairs & exhibitions, customer conference etc.) to increase the awareness and preference of the brand and product so to increase customer satisfaction. Evaluate the fit of different sponsorship, leverage corporate resource to increase the reputation of the brand within Automotive Associations, Institutions and official organizations.
  • Closely cooperate with Market Intelligence and measure the results and establish KPI’s for M&C activities/campaign/events (ex. # of Leads, Qualified leads, HTS image, surveys….)

4) Digital Communication

  • Develop digital communication strategy and lead the digital marketing activities, primarily through digital means such as search, social media, affiliate, viral marketing and so on. Consolidating data sources and giving input to CRM. Ensure the company platform for instance, official wechat account is well maintain and optimized.

5) People Management

  • Lead and motivate team members/3rd party resources by target activities and performance evaluations on basis of mission statement. Ensure target-oriented internal communication, and task related qualification. Align activities with Scania HQ, ensure the achievement of the agreed targets by adequate control and support. Ensure diversity and compliance in the company by fostering a corporate culture according to corporate values.

 

Experience & Qualification:

  • Relevant Education or equivalent work experience
  • Business knowledge and experience from a similar role an advantage
  • Managerial and Leadership experience
  • Fluent in English
