Scania enhanced its expansion in the East African region by means of our captive financing company Scania Credit Solutions, which started its operations in Tanzania more than 20 years ago, and in Kenya in 2010. We offer financing for Scania trucks and buses sold through Scania in East Africa. Together with the prime movers, we finance brand new trailers from approved trailer manufacturers as well.

At Scania Credit Solutions, you will meet a team of transport industry specialists offering all-inclusive, competitive financing solutions for new and used vehicles, bus body building and trailers. Our pledge is to work with you to create a bespoke package that's right for your business. And in doing so, we will seek to develop a payment plan that will reduce your overall cost of operation while minimising expenditure. 

On used Scania prime movers, the maximum finance period depends on the year of manufacture. New Trailers are financed on similar terms as the Prime Movers.

The loans we offer can be in Shillings or US Dollars depending on the currency you receive your income in (for one to qualify for a US Dollar loan most of the income should also be in US Dollars). 

The trucks and buses must also have a tracking system installed which can be activated through Scania's dedicated Fleet Management System. We pay for the hardware, installation and monthly subscriptions upfront and you pay us back monthly.
