Enock Tanui Appointed Sales Director at Scania East Africa

Scania East Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Enock Tanui as Sales Director effective Monday, 1st January 2024.
Enock who has been the Regional Manager, Eastern Africa at Scania Credit Solutions (Captive Finance Company) since May 2018, takes up the new role with significant expertise in asset-based finance, portfolio management, business development, and structuring of complex deals, and experience working with customers in the transport and logistics industry in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.
At Scania Credit Solutions, he was responsible for increasing the company’s market share, and the development of new markets in the region, and under his leadership, the company has increased its asset finance customer base, with an increased portfolio growth from KES. 3B in 2018 to KES. 20B as at November 2023. During the same period, the East Africa business unit has also been recognized as one of the top Scania markets with high asset finance penetration facilitated by Scania Credit Solutions.
As Sales Director, Enock will be responsible for developing and implementing the Scania sales strategy within the East Africa Business unit, and supporting the establishment and development of new markets within the region.
